I would like to introduce the perspective of a divorce when children are involved. Divorces can be brutal. But while the adults can learn to grow from them, sometimes young children have their growth stunted from the trauma, particularly if one parent becomes estranged – they are at the tail end of the tsunami, and feel the damaging aftershocks for many, many years to come.
