Wow, I hadn't considered this perspective, so it's eye-opening and certainly makes sense that no random family is filmed. I often cried while watching the show with my husband because we thought some scenarios were wholesome.

Many points brought up reminded me of a video about the trauma the Olsen twins endured while on the set of Full House. And as a parent, I agree it's wrong to make money off of children without their consent, especially if they don't enjoy the work.
