I only have one piece of writing where I tried to be extra creative, but I think I may have overdone it with the metaphors, idioms and imagery, lol. Oddly, it was the one I worked the hardest on! I was quite pleased with how it turned out at the time being it my first try. Now when I read it, I cringe and wonder if it’s any good at all. Although the person I wrote it for loved it and said that he felt very invested and weirded out at the same time because it was “on point.” Maybe he’s the only judge that matters since it’s about him :)
