Your reflections came at the right timing as I'm feeling the same. Last night I was journaling about my son's first school play and my daughter's last at the same kindergarten. (Kindergarten runs for 3 years in Japan.) They had their performances yesterday. I couldn't believe it was over. I flipped back several pages and it wasn't long ago I was journaling about all the firsts. Afterwards, my husband asked me what those wet blotches were on the floor. I hadn't realized my tears reached the hardwood, lol.
